Digicameinfo corrected yesterday's rumor and the name of the new Pentax will be Q-S1 and not Q2. And he also posted some more images of the camera!

Wild rumors: Nikon to launch a complete new system based on the Sony 50MP medium format sensor!
This is really a wild rumor but I got it via some trusted source. He says that he "heard" about a new Nikon camera system that could be launched at Photokina. And the first camera will feature the current Sony 50MP medium format sensor used by all newest generation Hasselblad, Phase one and Pentax MF cameras!

Samyang to launch a high quality (and low price) 50mm f/1.5 lens for "some" mirrorless systems.
Samyang will announce a newly designed APS-C lens for "some" mirrorless system. I heard it's certainly coming for Micro Four Thirds. But I guess Samyang will launch E and X mount versions too.
I have been told the lens has a high optical quality but still the famous Samyang low pricing :)

Fuji photographer David Hobby erroneously leaks some Fuji X100T image samples.
A pretty much save rumor is that Fuji will announce the new X100T. Well officially Fuji photographer David Hobby erroneously published some image samples taken with the yet unannounced camera on Flickr (page has now been removed).
But on Reddit you can still find the Exif image proving those images where from the X100T. The camera specs according to Fujirumors are:
24MP X-Trans sensor
faster AF than X100S
tilt screen
new fixed lens
new EVF, better than X100S, but not as much as X-T1
wider phase detection area
The camera will be announced in 4-6 weeks!

These are the full specs of the upcoming new ultracompact, ultrafast and first curved sensor camera! It will feature a 2/3 inch curved sensor and use a damn compact 20mm f/1.2 lens.
The new sensor has the same signal to noise ration of a Canon 5DmarkIII. Quite amazing!

Camera market will shrink by 10% yearly by 2017 (says ICinsights).
Icinsights posted a forecast about the camera market till 2017. And the market is expected to shrink:
Worldwide DSC shipments are expected to fall by a CAGR of -10% between 2012 and 2017 compared to an annual average growth rate of just 1% in the 2007-2012 period and nearly 31% per year in the 2002-2007 timeframe.
But there are two positive news: The System Camera Market is expected to growth further. And that's also the most profitable business for the camera producers. And the "non-conventional" camera market for Tablet-smartphones-medical-car-surveillance is expected to grow too!

Next superzoom announced: Pentax XG-1!
Like you know the superzoom compact camera market is still growing and that's why we already have the next new superzoom announcement: Ricoh launched the new Pentax XG-1 (specs here at BH).
It doesn't feature a large 1 inch sensor like the recently unveieled Panasonic FZ1000. But it costs also less than a half!
