But here's what Paul answered when we asked how he got started as a professional photographer:
"Many years (and McDonalds meals) ago, I was actually modelling. I’d travelled quite a bit, and met some fantastic photographers who were kind enough to show me how to turn my hobby-level skills into a more refined shooting style. From there, I started offering to shoot other models for their books, and I got into it from there. I’ve always taken travel and landscape photos, since I can remember, so one day I realised I was focusing on the wrong thing when I was shooting purely people. From there, I started focusing my better knowledge on improving my landscape images and it all just began to click into place. Having experience shooting a lot of people still actually helps though - especially when it comes to commercial shots."
